Fortune magazine has published as list of the 50 most powerful women in business
in America. They define power as “the ability to change things”. Power isn’t always
accompanied by wealth, but this list indicates a pretty strong corollary, and is
certainly a useful tool for corporate fundraisers and prospect researchers. Each
listing contains a short description of the individual.
