Webtop survey reveals people still can’t find what they’re looking for online.
A
new survey from Webtop.com reports that 72% of UK adults are frustrated by the quality
of information they retrieve via the Internet. Not surprisingly, 60% of users say
that accurate information is important when searching online for business. Indeed,
one would have thought that the figure would have been higher.

Even now, despite the improvement of search engine facilities such as those offered
by Google.com, 31% of users state that they do not often find what they need on
the Web.

This should simply act as a reminder for charities to review their online profile.
Can someone searching for a charity’s name on a range of search engines find your
site quickly? What if they type in the generic word describing the charity’s area
of focus, such as children, cancer, or animals? If not, what is your charity going
to do about it?
