# Nominations sought for The Guardian Christmas appeal

**The Guardian is seeking nominations from readers for the three beneficiary charities
for this year’s Guardian Christmas Appeal. **

The newspaper is seeking medium-sized charities with a turnover of less than £10
million. Last year’s appeal raised **over £200,000**.

Applications can not be received online, only on the form printed in today’s Guardian(
see page 12 of Society). The closing date for entries is 6 October 2000.
