The NewTithing Group, based in San Franscisco, is encouraging wealthy Americans
to give up to 10% of their wealth to charity. As part of its work it has produced
the NewTitheCalc, a Web-based calculator, to help potential donors calculate how
much they can give away in the most effective way. This tool for donors can be found
on the Web sites for [KQED Radio](http://www.kqed.org) and [Minnesota Public Radio.](http://access.mpr.org/civic_j/giving)
