**David Ford is to retire from legacy specialists Smee and Ford, after almost 40
years with the firm. **

He will stay on as ICFM’s Chairman, and will be replaced at Smee and Ford by Richard
Radcliffe, former ICFM Covention Chairman.

David’s relaxed and friendly style is well-known to many fundraisers, and his commitment
to the fundraising sector deserves recognition. UK Fundraising wishes David a long
and happy retirement, but somehow suspects he won’t be disappearing from the fundraising
scene entirely.
