Six UK education institutions have won medals in the 1999 [CASE](http://www.case.org)
Circle of Excellence awards. Glasgow Caledonian University won Gold Medal in the
Individual Institutional Relations Programme category, and King’s College London
won Gold Medal in the Individual Alumni Relations Publications category. This is
reportedly the first time that institutions outside of North America have entered
for these awards. You can read about the 1998 awards but the CASE Web site doesn’t
yet publish this year’s awards details.
