The Museum of Scotland has launched its appeal on the Web with an innovative page
of signatures of famous Scots, inviting donors to make their mark too.
Robert Burns’
[signature](http://www.museum.scotland.net/signature.htm), for example, is written
as you watch.

The appeal offers different levels of giving, as Founders, Guardians or Stewards,
together with the [Chain Appeal](http://www.museum.scotland.net/chain.htm), sensibly
pitched at the £250 Gift Aid threshold. However, there is no direct e-mail link
to the Campaign Office in Edinburgh: “just fill in the form below and we’ll be in
touch”.
