Queen’s University Foundation has launched a £140 million fundraising campaign, with the aim of moving it up the rankings from its 166th place to the top 100 universities in the world.

The Beyond campaign has already secured £17.5 million from individual donors, businesses, foundations and trusts, according to the Vice Chancellor Sir Peter Gregson.

Professor Gregson said: “It is a campaign that will allow Queen’s to continue to make its disproportionate contribution to the success of Northern Ireland. From cybersecurity to the humanities, and from food science to medicine, Queen’s impact and influence on society is exceptional.”
