EAPG London Roundtable 5.15pm welcome for 5.30-7.00pm

Discussion leader: Warren Lancaster, International Director, Geneva Global.
Research shows that almost all of the charitable giving within the two dozen richest nations stays within these nations. In the United States alone, of the $295 billion contributed in 2006, only 6.5 percent went abroad. Meanwhile, incredible investment opportunities in the world’s least-developed countries continue to be overlooked. Many of these are grass-roots projects, offering the promise of exceptional return on investment, each measured in the highest number of lives changed per dollar in significant and lasting ways.

Over the last eight years, Geneva Global has guided clients to invest more than $60 million in 1,400 life changing projects across 110 countries and impacting 5.8 million lives. Geneva Global provides expert guidance for international giving, connecting benefactors and beneficiaries for their mutual benefit, and providing confidence that each client is investing in the most effective life-changing initiatives in the world.

Prior to joining Geneva Global, Warren Lancaster served as director for England and Wales for The Leprosy Mission International, based in Brentford, United Kingdom. He was previously chief executive officer of London, U.K.-based Merlin, which provides healthcare and medical relief to victims of disaster and conflict worldwide. Warren was instrumental in the development of the humanitarian agency Medair, based near Lausanne, Switzerland, where he served as an executive director.
