Recycling scheme expands

Submitted by davidalder on 13 August, 2008 - 14:33.

Each One Counts is expanding. The scheme that raises funds for charities by recycling printer cartridges and mobile phones has recruited Emma Corry as Charity Account Manager. She takes over from Amy Horn who has been promoted to Each One Counts Collections Manager.

Amy Horn said: "We are delighted to welcome Emma who has considerable experience of the charity sector. She will now be the main contact for all charities wanting to raise funds through our simple, cost-free recycling process. Emma also has a background in marketing and will be helping us develop our communications to improve public awareness of recycling as a fundraising process."

"Since Each One Counts started we have had a fast-growing number of approaches from charities to form a partnership. Because our new process enables even the smallest charities to raise funds through recycling, with no investment, Emma's arrival will help us expand and respond quickly to help many more charities raise funds in this environmentally-sound way", Horn continued.

Each One Counts is run by Environmental Business Products Ltd (EBP). The company is Europe's largest recycler of inkjet cartridges and other high-tech items, with collection schemes in most European countries. EBP raises over £500,000 each year for a wide variety of charities through recycling schemes.
