Becky Slack to join British Red Cross

Becky Slack, editor of Professional Fundraising magazine, is to join the fundraising department at the British Red Cross after two and a half years at the magazine.

She will take up her new role as senior corporate partnerships executive in September. She has not previously worked as a fundraiser. In an announcement on the magazine's website she explained: "Writing about fundraising and attending so many conferences has made me very passionate about the sector – so much so I want to be a fundraiser myself."
