Pedigree has launched a nationwide initiative to help raise money and awareness to benefit dogs in rescue centres.

Through this innovative campaign, the company hopes to donate £500,000 to re-homing centres by making a donation for every single item purchased from the Pedigree range between 1 January and 31 March 2008.

Northern Bank raises £140,000 for charity

Northern Bank in Northern Ireland has donated over £140,000 to its charity partner for 2007, Macmillan Cancer Support. The money was raised over the last year by the staff, with matching support from the company.

Children's cancer charity enjoys record income for 2007

Volunteer-run children's cancer charity Camp Quality UK raised £70,000 during 2007, the charity's best year for voluntary income since it was founded 22 years ago.
The children's charity offers kids with cancer deserved breaks away form long term hospital stays and unpleasant treatment.
Last year's income means that the charity has raised a total of £1,001,048 over the 22 years.
