Bloodwise appointed as 2017 Prudential RideLondon Charity of the Year

Howard Lake | 21 September 2016 | News

Blood cancer charity Bloodwise, formerly known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, has been named as the Prudential RideLondon Charity of the Year for 2017.
It was selected from more than 100 charities which applied for the opportunity.
It will use the money raised by its riders at the event to fund Blood Cancer Connect, an online hub providing patients and their families with comprehensive information on their diagnosis, while signposting them to local support.

Benefits of partnership

As Charity of the Year, Bloodwise will receive support from the event organisers in maximising fundraising efforts, together with 200 guaranteed places in 100-mile cycling challenge which takes place on Sunday 30 July 2017.
The inaugural RideLondon event took place in 2013 and in its first three years it has raised over £29 million. The total raised by the 2016 event is not yet available and will be announced later this year.
