David Loxton has been announced as new director of fundraising and marketing for the Spinal Injuries Association.
Formerly consultant with Action Planning, Loxton has joined the Spinal Injuries Association after working with the charity in a consultancy role for the last 18 months. Loxton worked with a wide range of charities on fundraising and strategy at Action Planning after holding fundraising and campaigning roles with other charities and at the Liberal Democrats.
His priority in his new role as director of fundraising is to help implement the charity’s new strategy for April 2017, focused on helping more people live fulfilling and independent lives after spinal cord injury.
The Spinal Injuries Association’s chief executive, Sue Browning, said:

“We are delighted to welcome David on board. We have greatly benefitted from his skills and experience over the last 18 months and are excited about what we’ll be able to achieve with David on the staff team. We are really fortunate that David was looking for a new challenge and whilst a consultant fitted into this charity so well.”
