Melanie May | 29 April 2016 | News

Coca-Cola is calling for youth groups with project ideas that foster self-esteem, confidence, wellbeing and leadership in young people across Ireland and Northern Ireland to apply for this year’s Thank You Fund.
This year’s Fund was launched by broadcaster Pete Snodden and youth inspiration and disability campaigner Joanne O’Riordan in April, and totals €130,000 (over £100,000). The sum has been chosen in celebration of 130 years of Coca-Cola. This year, the Fund has launched in partnership with YouthAction Northern Ireland and the Irish Youth Foundation to encourage non-profit and community groups to apply. On 6th May, a workshop will be hosted at YouthAction Northern Ireland with any groups interested in applying invited to attend.
The Fund is seeking applications which fall under one or more of the following three categories:

Applications must be received online via www.coca-cola.ie/thankyou before 7th June.
Snodden said:

“We want to hear from groups who seek to make a positive change in their communities, and those who are passionate about leading from the front to make it happen. I urge any groups thinking of applying for the funding to come along to the workshop with YouthAction NI on the 6th May to learn more about the process, and the types of projects we are hoping to hear from.”
