Growing a Greener Britain offers £50,000 match funding

Howard Lake | 7 March 2016 | News

Growing a Greener Britain is offering £50,000 in match funding to projects that improve the quality of, and access to, green space throughout Britain.
The group, set up by The Landscape Group, is pledging up to £5,000 to “the most exciting and needed” green space projects that are actively fundraising each month on crowdfunding site Spacehive.
Growing a Greener Britain says that it will support projects by communities, individuals, organisations or businesses. To be in with a chance of receiving the match funding, they should upload the idea onto Spacehive and begin the crowdfunding campaign.
“If your project is popular with the crowd, and meets our criteria, you could get your hands on a pledge of up to £5,000!”, say the campaign group.
On Spacehive the projects have to reach their funding target or no funding is received by the project.
