IoF cultural sector conference details announced

The IoF’s special interest group The Cultural Sector Network has announced details of its 2016 annual conference.
The special interest group is aimed at all those involved in philanthropy, sponsorship and funding across the whole range of arts and heritage organisations.
The conference will be held at the RBS headquarters in London, and will bring together a number of keynote speakers and case studies from a range of cultural organisations.
The theme this year is ‘Building for the Future’, with keynote addresses from Loyd Grossman, chair of the Heritage Alliance, and Emma Kane, chair of the Barbican Centre Trust, as well as a plenary Q&A panel asking “What will fundraising be like in 2040?”.
For the first time, there will also be 16 sessions in parallel tracks designed to appeal to the range of delegates, from those new to fundraising to experienced fundraising leaders.
Samir Savant, conference chair, said:

“At a time of continued uncertainty around funding, we need to invest in fundraising activity to maintain the vibrant cultural scene in this country. I am excited that so many diverse organisations from across the UK will be represented at the Conference”.

More information on the conference and how to book can be found on Eventbrite.
