International Fundraising Congress in Holland to host I Wish I’d Thought Of That

This year I Wish I’d Thought Of That comes to the International Fundraising Congress in Holland for the first time. The event invites fundraisers to celebrate the great fundraising campaigns of others that inspired them by presenting them concisely in front of an audience.
SOFII (the Showcase of Fundraising Inspiration and Innovation) has run the event for several years, but now brings it to the hundreds of fundraisers from around the world that will be at the International Fundraising Congress (IFC), run by the Resource Alliance, in October.

I Want to Talk at That

Your chance to win a free place at the International Fundraising Congress

SOFII and the Resource Alliance are also inviting young fundraisers to take part, with the winners receiving a free pass to the Congress. Appropriately enough they have to pitch their idea in short video format to some fundraising experts.
In addition to the free event pass, the winners will also receive mentoring from one of the judges – Tony Elischer, Bill Toliver, or Sean Triner – to present their idea effectively at the event later this year.
The competition is described as ‘I Want To Talk At That’, and a similar competition was held last year to speak at IWITOT in London.
The Resource Alliance’s Esther Kwaku introduces the opportunity:

To be in with a chance, create a short video audition (up to seven minutes long) and upload it to I Want To Talk At That by 10 July. The original fundraising idea can’t be yours, you must focus on what people did rather than didn’t do, and don’t forget to include your contact details.

Enjoy IWITOT 2014 again

If you want an idea of previous IWITOT presentations have a look at our video reports from last year’s IWITOT in London.
